SWAT Roller Derby are proud to unveil new sponsors for our 2017 season. The team have a new Platinum level sponsor in Reboot Roller Discos - the popular local Exeter family friendly business is a natural fit for the team as it was established by two team members Maria ‘Vampira’ Sowden and Charlotte ‘Mrs Kripling’ Crews. The weekly Saturday roller discos often feature SWAT skaters out on the rink as marshals offering skating tips and helping keep everyone safe. Reboot regulars will certainly see a different side to their friendly marshals if they come to see them in action at a bout! Another new sponsor for this season is Momma Trucker Skates, a bronze level sponsor. Not satisfied with providing many team members with the latest skates and safety gear, owner Kate Garrard will be providing support to the whole team this season!
In addition, SWAT are delighted to welcome back Clifton Road Games as our Gold level sponsor. Clifton Road Games were enthusiastic supporters last year, and SWAT skaters are looking forward to the chance to raise awareness of this fantastic and unique Exeter based business.
The money received will go a long way to helping our A and B teams travel to games further afield as well as help to pay for new uniforms and equipment.
